"When I commissioned Rosemary to paint a portrait of my daughter and myself, I had seen a few portraits that Rosemary had completed  - and her use of light and color seemed to bring the images to life.  It had occurred to me that before my daughter and I get any older, I wanted to capture a moment in time with my daughter so I can pass it down to her when I am no longer here and she can remember me with her  when I was younger and one day pass it to her family.

When Rosemary was painting the portrait of my daughter and myself, it was very important to her that we were involved in how the painting developed over time.  Her constant attention to detail in every aspect of the painting was very important to her.  She had developed the painting using a number of pictures taken in various places mostly on cruises.  She picked out the most natural pose; and I found that her detail to our clothing and our facial expressions are exceptional.

I was very insistent that we look as natural as possible to how white our teeth were, and how natural our smiles and facial expressions  were.  Her attention to detail indeed brought the portrait to life!  I am very pleased and proud hang the painting in my living room . She had made a duplicate for my daughter to hang in her living room.  I highly recommend her,  she is a true Artist".
